Starting from the end of 2020, Lianyungang City Museum has begun the construction of a smart museum. In order to continue to promote the construction of smart museums and enhance the informatization and intelligence level of museums, in February 2021, the "Smart Museum" construction seminar was held in Lianyungang City Museum with Jiangsu Mobile Lianyungang Branch, fully opening the construction of "Smart Museum". Subsequently, several project promotion meetings were held, the construction plan was revised, and the strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Mobile Lianyungang Branch was implemented to implement the content of the agreement and the relevant requirements of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage "Notice on Deepening "Museums on the Move" Cooperation" to create a "5G" Wisdom Museum of All Scenes".

　　The "Smart Museum" is based on modern information technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, and mobile Internet. It focuses on the three basic characteristics of more thorough perception, more comprehensive interconnection, and deeper intelligence. It has smart management and smart protection. The core concept of a new type of museum with three functions of smart service is to have smart innovation capabilities. Under the guidance of the concept of cultural and tourism integration, the “Smart Museum” project of Lianyungang Museum mainly relies on the museum’s existing intelligent construction system and audience service system. VR virtual space experience, AR guide and cultural relics explanation, AI clocking and shooting, smart toilets and other six aspects of construction. Develop the social service function of the museum, deepen the interactive experience between the audience and the museum, and realize the function of museum cultural communication.

　　After the completion of the "5G All-Scenario Smart Museum" project of the Lianyungang Museum, it can organically unify the various departments and functions of the museum, get rid of the situation of "information islands, fighting each other", not only can realize the integration of cultural resources of the whole museum , The extension of functions, the realization of an efficient management and operation model, the integration of regional cultural resources, enriching the spiritual and cultural life of citizens, and enhancing the urban cultural space.

At present, the various software and hardware systems of the project are in the final stage of commissioning, and will meet with a large audience in the near future.
