Bamboo Slips "Shen Wu Fu" in Western Han Dynasty
西汉《神乌傅》竹简
The bamboo slip "Shen Wu Fu" is currently the earliest vulgar fu in my country. It adds new varieties to Han fu. It occupies an important position in the history of ancient literature and has great literary value.
There are 21 bamboo slips, about 660 characters. The fu body is a four-character verse, anthropomorphically telling the fable of a pair of kind crows building a nest together, being robbed by a bad bird, and a female crow dying unyieldingly. It preaches the Confucianism that "the heavens and the earth are strong, each has its own rationale" Ethics and morals. The whole article uses dialogue to narrate the story, uses four-character rhyme, free rhymes, and the language is popular. It is a typical folk story. At the same time, the calligraphy of the chapter and grass calligraphy in the font of the fu is wonderful and beautiful.
