In order to celebrate the third Chinese Cultural Heritage Day, our museum has specially held one of the "Eternal Memory" Chinese cultural heritage exhibitions-"The Exhibition of Buddhist Statues in the Lianyungang Museum Collection". We selected a part of the exquisite pieces from the numerous collections of Buddhist statues for exhibition, showing the characteristics and artistic achievements of different ages and regions in our country.

Due to historical opportunities, Lianyungang Museum has collected a large number of Buddhist statues of gold and bronze Buddha, and has become a municipal museum with rich Buddhist collections in our province. These collections gather the essence of Buddha statues from all over the world, mainly Buddha statues from Tibet and other places and the Ming and Qing dynasties. Not only have a large time span and a large number of origins, they reflect the development of Buddhist statues, but also reflect the art of Chinese Buddhist statues. Superb level.

"The Exhibition of Buddhist Statues in the Lianyungang Museum Collection" was held on June 18 in the special exhibition hall on the second floor of the Lianyungang Museum. This exhibition displays 30 fine Buddha statues, including Sakyamuni, Guanyin, Luohan, etc., with different shapes and vividness.

This exhibition will end on July 9.
