On March 3, the City Museum and Beijing Mosen Cultural Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Party B) signed the "Entrusted Design Agreement." The Municipal Museum entrusts Party B to complete the formal overall design, display equipment supervision, and exhibition arrangement of the historical exhibition in the new museum, the exhibition of Yanhan’s art works, and the invitational exhibition of the Palace Museum’s cultural relics. Among them, Xu Naixiang from the Palace Museum and Ding Xiaoyu from the National Museum jointly undertake the form design of the basic display of the new museum.
On March 10, the Municipal Museum signed a "Publishing Contract" with People's Fine Arts Publishing for two albums: "The Collection of Cultural Relics in Lianyungang City Museum" and "The Collection of Yanhan's Paintings and Calligraphy Collections in Lianyungang Museum and Yanhan Art Museum". On April 15th, People's Fine Arts Publishing House came to the museum to photograph cultural relics. It will be officially published in early September.
On March 15th, the city museum staff went to the Forbidden City in Beijing to contact the "Palace Cultural Relics Exhibition" to borrow cultural relics.
March 11-15 In order to cooperate with the party’s advanced education activities, the Municipal Museum organized party members and some employees to visit the Revolutionary Memorial Hall, Yangjialing, and Zaoyuan in Yan'an.

From April 22 to 24, the Archaeological Department of the Municipal Museum conducted a rescue excavation of the Han tombs found at the Huagai Mountain infrastructure construction site in the development zone, and unearthed a number of cultural relics such as wire coils, wooden combs, lead coins, ear cups, and lacquer spoons.
On May 24, the film crew of "Complete Works of Chinese Calligraphy" by China Cultural Relics Publishing House came to the city museum to shoot Yinwan Hanjian. The shooting content mainly included "Jibu", "Shen Wufu", "Han Dao Good and Bad", "Han Calendar", etc. .
On June 3, a discussion meeting on the display design of the new museum of the city museum was held in the Municipal Bureau of Culture. Experts from Beijing Xin Lixiang, Ding Xiaoyu, Xu Naixiang, and Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture Wang Yaping, Director Zhou Jinping, Deputy Director Liu Hong, and Nearly twenty people including Li Deshen, Peng Yun, and Liu Hongshi, experts in local history in our city, attended the meeting. On June 12, the "Chinese Cultural Relics" film crew of the Wuzhou Communication Center under the State Council Information Office came to the city museum to photograph the four treasures of the Han Dynasty study: brushes, book knives, board research (including stone wipes), wooden slips and other cultural relics.
June 15-20, my country’s famous printmaker Yan Han once again donated 10 oil paintings to the Municipal Museum. The director of the museum, Zhou Jinping, led the relevant personnel of the History Department and the Security Department to Beijing to receive them and transport them back to the museum to enter Tibet.

September The Social Education Department of the Municipal Museum opened the recruitment of interpreters in the municipal talent market twice on September 24 and October 1, 2005. On November 15th, the Municipal Museum received the "Certificate of Precious Archives and Documents of Jiangsu Province" issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Archives Bureau on July 25, 2005. The "Lianyungang Han Dynasty Bamboo Slips" declared by our library was included in the "Jiangsu Province Precious Archives and Documents List" after consideration by the Jiangsu Provincial Precious Archives and Literature Selection Committee.
