On the afternoon of October 26, the "2013 Journey to the West Cultural Festival Cultural Products Expo Free Appreciation Activity" ended successfully on the fourth floor of the China National Exhibition Center. The activity attracted more than 100 Tibetan friends from our city and surrounding areas to bring more than 600 collections. Come.

At 9 a.m., the free treasure appreciation activity started on time. At the event, five cultural relic experts, including Ji Dakai, Jia Qinghua, Xiang Jianyun, Chen Jinsheng, and Wang Fumin, exchanged views on their respective categories of painting and calligraphy, copper and iron, miscellaneous items, jade, and ceramics. The on-site collections are judged one by one. They not only explained the authenticity of the collection itself, but also explained its identification points such as weight, decoration, materials, shape, style and other related content to the Tibetan friends, and answered all the questions of the Tibetan friends. The atmosphere of the event was enthusiastic.

Many of these collections are fakes, but there is no shortage of fine works, such as an embroidery brought by a Tibetan friend, with exquisite patterns and sophisticated craftsmanship. It was identified as a Shu embroidery from the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, which is very precious. The sweet white-glazed pot porcelain of the late Ming Dynasty by another Tibetan friend is also eye-catching. The pot body is warm and plump, giving people a sweet feeling of "juice lustrous like heap fat, bright and clean like beautiful jade". Other collections such as the bronze mirrors of the Western Han Dynasty, the coins made in Jiangxi Province in 1911, and the pictures of Sun Simiao's treatment of illnesses are also unique and remarkable.

Through this free treasure appreciation activity, the art appreciation level of collectors has been improved, the standardization of folk collections has been promoted, and the positive guiding role of museums in folk collections has also been expanded.
