The "Yanhan Art Research Exhibition-90-year-old Review" sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and other units was held at the Provincial Art Museum. Provincial leaders Zhang Lianzhen, Zhao Long and many famous painters attended the opening ceremony.

　　Yanhan is one of the most outstanding famous painters in our country, especially his prints have a very large influence both at home and abroad. In the 1940s, he participated in the battle against the enemy in the Taihang Mountains as a warrior and a painter. Many of his works portrayed the scenes of the soldiers and civilians resisting Japan from the front. Masterpieces such as "The Five Heroes of Langya Mountain" and "The Selection of Beans" have been recorded in the annals of art history. At the same time, Yan Han also expressed life in the liberated areas and democratic reforms in his works, becoming one of the main representative painters of "Liberated Area Woodcuts". This exhibition is divided into two parts. The first part introduces Yanhan's legendary life experience and artistic evolution process with a lot of words and pictures. The second part displays more than 200 representative paintings, which intuitively show the audience Yanhan's lifelong artistic achievements and extraordinary artistic creativity.
