On December 30, the "Celebrating the New Year's Day and Welcome the New Year" jointly organized by the Lianyungang Museum and the Huaibei Museum, the famous art educator and printmaker Yan Han's art exhibition was grandly launched at the Huaibei Museum.

  Yanhan is one of the most famous, zeitgeist and most accomplished printmakers in China. Born in Donghai County, Lianyungang, Jiangsu in 1916, died in Beijing in 2011 at the age of 95. He is a representative of "Liberated Area Woodcuts" and has won the National Art Achievement Award many times. In 2001, he was awarded the National Highest Art Award "Golden Color" Lifetime Achievement Award. He is considered: "One of the pioneers of China's emerging printmaking. His creative process shows the sufferings and struggles of the Chinese people in the 20th century, and is closely related to the destiny of the nation."

  A total of 68 masterpieces by Yan Han in different periods from the 1980s to the 1990s are exhibited in this exhibition. The exhibition will be held on New Year's Day and will last until the end of February. This exhibition is the first time that Lianyungang City Museum has produced and launched temporary exhibitions and carried out inter-library tour activities based on its collections in recent years. The successful development of the exhibition has promoted cultural exchanges between the museums and is also a hobby of art. The author provides a platform for communication and appreciation.
